About us

Bonimmo aims to build a platform capable of revolutionizing real estate

For people who search for, offer, and manage properties. Bonimmo brings together property discovery, the workflow tools, and the trust mechanisms needed to foster a thriving community—all under one system. This aims to reduce fragmentation, clarify responsibilities, and help participants decide, work, and collaborate more efficiently and productively.

Our story

Bonimmo is born from YR Inmobiliaria, our earlier expression of the project.

But what began as a family real-estate agency could not stay there. As the project grew—bringing together tools for all its participants—the earlier identity became too narrow for our aspirations. That is why, a year after starting our journey, we decided our project needed a new name.

That said, Oaxaca—and Mexico more broadly—remain, and will remain, deeply woven into the way Bonimmo operates and learns. They are part of our context, but they do not define the limit of our ambition.

So far, Bonimmo has built substantial product infrastructure; at the same time, we are fully aware of what has not yet been earned. And the commercial validation of this new approach remains limited. Even so, we believe that closing that gap is part of the work ahead—work we look forward to.

Our purpose

To make real-estate markets more reliable and accountable for all of us who take part in them.

Why Bonimmo?

We chose Bonimmo as the natural next name for YR Inmobiliaria because we wanted a name that could travel beyond its home market: short enough to be memorable, easy to pronounce across different languages, and still recognizably tied to real estate.

That is why Bonimmo draws its roots from Interlingua, an artificial language developed with a highly simplified, regular grammar and a vocabulary rooted in English, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, German, and Russian. Thanks to its naturalistic roots, it can often be understood at first sight by hundreds of millions of people around the world—at least according to the Union Mundial pro Interlingua.

That said, Bonimmo can be broken into two parts: bon—meaning “good”—and immo, a widely recognized root associated with property and real estate. Together, they evoke the idea of a “good property.” Yet what Bonimmo stands for goes beyond property itself. To us, the name suggests real estate grounded in good faith: information with an understandable origin, relationships built on greater accountability, and a market strengthened by the people who take part in it.

In short, Bonimmo names the kind of real-estate market we want to help build: one that is more reliable, more transparent, and more effective for everyone involved.

Our mission

To bring property discovery, real-estate workflow tools, and the trust mechanisms needed to achieve that goal into a single platform, so that those who search for, offer, and mediate properties can make better-informed decisions and work more effectively.

Our vision

To transform how real-estate markets operate around the world, making them more transparent, reliable, and efficient. We want participants to understand exactly what options are available to them, where the information they need comes from, how current and credible it might be, and who is responsible for it all—so they don't have to rely on scattered listings, word of mouth, or opaque, unreliable processes.

Our values

They aim to guide and illuminate everything we do.

Reliability

We build and operate Bonimmo so participants can rely on its information, tools, rules, and commitments. To us, reliability means verifiability, accountability, and follow-through across time and place.

Transparency

To us, transparency means making consequential information more understandable: so that those who find it clearly know where it comes from, how current and credible it may be, who reviewed it before, what remains unanswered, and what guarantees they can expect from us.

Community

At Bonimmo we believe community is an essential part of human nature. That is why we commit to providing the conditions for those who search for, offer, and mediate properties to coordinate, contribute useful information, and solve problems together. Only then will we build a fairer, more accountable real-estate market.

How we operate

These six principles guide our decisions and are our commitment to you.

Evidence-backed decisions

Ground material claims and decisions in current, traceable evidence, making uncertainty visible.

Fair, transparent rules

Apply rules impartially, documenting exceptions and clarifying conflicts before they escalate.

Bounded promises and named accountability

State scope, responsibility, and limitations for the commitments we make.

Grow without overwhelming

Expand the scope, costs, and opportunities our products offer gradually, based on evidence, capacity, and predefined conditions.

Human accountability

Always keep a real, identifiable person accountable for the information and the important decisions we make.

Non-waivable safeguards

Treat law, security, privacy, truthful representation, and participants' fundamental rights as mandatory constraints.
